weston hills high school
Welcome to Westbrook, Maine and Weston Hills High School! Weston Hills has students from a wide variety of backgrounds in grades 9-12, and they are very proud to announce that their academics are top notch. It is a public high school and proves to be an enjoyable experience for both the students and the individuals that are employed there. But the question still remains - where will you fit in?
Are you tired of those high school games that keep dying no matter how much interest there was and no matter how many people loved it? Sick of developing lines that you fall in love with only to be forced to lose them because the mods just abandon the game? You won't find that here. We're players too, and we're sick of the games dying just as much as you are, so we're making you a promise not to abandon you as long as you don't abandon us.

 No OOC/IC line crossing, but we know that this does happen so if it does? Bring it to the mods immediately and we will try to help you out.
While we would love to see everyone threading, it is required that you have a sufficient journal update for your character at least once every four weeks. 250+ words, please. Let us know what's going on with your characters.
Be aware of proper grammar and spelling skills. This is something that you learn in elementary school - utilize these skills!
Major plots need to be cleared by the mods before you do it. Just drop us a comment in the drop box and we'll get back to you ASAP! This includes pregnancy, overdosing on drugs, car accidents, deaths, etc.
It's up to you to create your storylines and keep the game moving and active - not us. We'll provide you with activities and news periodically, but let's face it.. half of the time it's the players who die off because they lose interest. Our goal is to make it past a week of being open, and hopefully create one of those games that actually lasts. That's where you come in.
Yes, you may apply for teachers and/or staff, and yes they will need a premade as well. If none of the current ones realistically could fit your teacher idea, submit your own premade idea!
Your PB must be a celebrity!
Your AIM screen names have to be in some relation to your character's name. And to be fair, journals must include your character's name - no extra words or obnoxious numbers or underscores, please.
Try not to select a name that another character has - it gets confusing and can upset the other player! If you need to know whether or not your name idea is taken, please ask us in the drop box!

holds
all holds will last for 72 hours (3 days) and they will expire at midnight, PST. anonymous commenting is allowed, but you must return within two hours with a journal or you will lose the hold. challenges are not permitted. when holding a teaching/staff position please include what job they have. you may also hold positions for clubs and sports here, but if they're just a general member of the club then don't worry about it. Post all changes to any hold in a new comment, but please make sure to note what you're changing!
We are no longer accepting 'scene' PBs. If we cannot find your PB on Wikipedia or IMDB or something equivalent to that then they are no longer permitted since they are not an actual celebrity - people are suing.TAKEN
